Account & Data Deletion Request – RentMe
This page explains how users can request to delete their RentMe account and associated personal
data, in compliance with Google Play requirements.
Restrictions on Deletion
- You cannot delete your account during an active rental or ongoing payment verification.
- After your last rental, a 30-day retention period applies before permanent deletion, to
resolve any pending issues or disputes.
How to Request Account Deletion
By Email
- Send an email from email linked to your account to:
delete_account@rentme.to
with the subject line: Account Deletion Request.
- Include the following details:
- Full name (as registered)
- Email and phone number linked to your account
You will receive a confirmation within 7 business days.
What We Delete
- Profile data (name, photo, city, language, currency preferences).
- Tool listings and uploaded images (unless tied to a legal claim).
- Favorites, searches, and notification history.
- Device tokens and push notification IDs.
What We Retain & Why
- Invoices, payment logs, and delivery confirmations – kept for tax, legal, and anti-fraud
reasons.
- Dispute and support records – retained until the issue is fully resolved.
- Anonymous analytics data – kept without any personal identifiers.
All removable data is permanently deleted within 30 days after your last rental, unless the
law requires longer retention.
After the Deletion Request
- Your account will be immediately deactivated to prevent future logins.
- Final deletion is scheduled after the 30-day post-rental period.
- A confirmation email will be sent once deletion is complete.
Canceling a Deletion Request
You can revoke your deletion request before the final deletion date by contacting us at
delete_account@rentme.to.
